I have been longing to go to this once a year event. I just don’t have the time and the company. Fortunately, this year, I have found both — time and company.
I am becoming a history buff recently and I realized that I have to refresh my own local history. This event just fits in everything I wanted in my sort of ‘bucket list’.
Gabii sa Kabilin is held once a year for a night, every last Friday of May. Gabii means evening while kabilin means inheritance, so it technically means “Evening of Inheritance”.
My friend Clarice and I were just being spontaneous and went on with any route that comes. We just followed where the bus would lead next.

There were lots of route stops for the event. One night is not enough to get to those places, we got tired a long the way. We only went to four places, not bad though. It was fun and interesting, plus Clarice is never boring to be with.
I hope to go to other route stops next year – Gabii sa Kabilin 2016 soon! 🙂
